Besides her mother, Sasha’s grandmother, Nasreen, worked with KL Saigal in AK Kardaar’s Shahjahan (1940), while Salma’s maternal grandfather Jugal Kishore Mehra and his wife Anwar Begum acted in Heer Ranjha in 1932. The light-eyed debutante is the fourth generation actor from her family and bears a strong resemblance to her mother Salma Agha. Though Sasha’s mother Salma Agha did conventional roles in her films like Nikaah, her daughter will be seen in a super glam look. One hopes that her acting skills will be at par with the striking resemblance to her yesteryear actor mother. She will soon be seen romancing Arjun Kapoor in the film. Upon bagging a coveted role as the female lead in Yash Raj Film’s ‘Aurangzeb’, she decided to change her name from Zara to Sasha. Sasha Agha was awaiting the perfect platform to mark her film debut.
Sasha was born in London to Rehmat Khan and Salma Agha but then she moved to India along with mother to join the glamourous Bollywood.
Sasha Agha who debuts in Bollywood with Yash Raj with “Aurangzeb” opposite Arjun Kapoor, is the daughter of well-known Pakistani singer Salma Agha of BR Chopra 1982 hit fame Nikaah.
